Splitting chores fairly without keeping score

Fairness at home is less about equal lists and more about nobody being the one who remembers.

Most arguments about chores are not about the dishes. They are about who noticed the dishes. The person who keeps the mental list does a second, invisible job.

Write it down once

Put every repeating chore in one shared place, with a day and a person. Once it is written, nobody has to remember it again.

Mayada does the bins every Tuesday, rotate with me

Rotate, then look at the tally

Rotation removes the daily negotiation. A monthly look at who did what, weighted by effort, settles the rest without a debate.

“Your turn” is a reminder. “Overdue!” is an accusation.

Organizized keeps the tone friendly on purpose. It reminds, it never nags, and it shows the tally to everyone at once.
